Mako Web Design is located in Sarasota, Florida. Mako Web was founded in 1998 and is now has more than 10 years experience in web site design and development. MAKO WEB specializes in giving online business websites the right look, hook & functionality to be competitive in today's increasing online market.

Mako Web was created in 1998 by Bernie Clark in Michigan. We started creating ecommerce web sites when the internet ecommerce was just getting started. Mr Clark had started developing websites in 1996 for his own purposes and started an online store in 1996.

WYSIWYG editors and online store builders were not available yet so you had to learn web programming the hard way. As a C, fortran and pascal programmer, HTML was just another language to learn.

Mako Web went on to develop many business and governement websites in Michigan and started aquiring clients around the US.

In 2004 we moved the business to Florida.

We are now a full service web design and development company offering design, analysis and reporting, architecture, programming, internet marketing, and maintenance plans all designed to assure our clients' online success.
